Susan started art classes with Shu-Chih when she was 5 years old and continued through high school.  Taking her art foundation with her to college at UC Berkeley, she entered the architecture program (where foundational art classes were required as part of the major). After graduating with a Bachelors of Art in Architecture from Berkeley, Susan began a career in the architecture field working on teams to design educational and healthcare facilities. She continued to grow in her career and moved into designing interior architecture for hospitals, libraries, and creative offices. She is a licensed Architect in the state of California.
